Western Pneumatics, Inc. (WPI) designs, manufactures and installs wood and fiber material handling systems. Four groups working together focus their expertise for the biomass, renewable energy and clean air markets. Pneumatic conveying includes low pressure dust extraction systems with NFPA recommended abort gates, airlocks or rotary airlocks, butterfly dampers, inlet vane dampers, poppet valves, cyclone separators, high efficiency cyclones, baghouse filters, reverse air filters, pulse-air filters and backdraft dampers. High pressure relay system require positive displacement blowers, NFPA recommended chip feeders or airlocks, flatback elbows, diverter valves, expansion joints, high speed abort gates, silo's and surge or metering bins. Our Machinery Group offers automatic corner feeders, crowders, finger jointers, auto lug loaders, breakdown hoists, box dumpers and grinders. The Construction Group installs materials handling systems, drying systems, furnaces, boilers, burners, WESP's, regenerative thermal oxidizers and environmental systems. Custom fabrication builds chain conveyors, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, chip storage bins, agricultural equipment, carbon or stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, and environmental pollution control equipment.
