RAKE OFF HOISTS
The Breakdown Rake-Off Hoist has hydraulic lift arms that will lift the unit off the infeed deck and bring it up to the required rake-off level. An overhead shuttle system will then push one course of wood at a time off the unit into the outfeed sweep chain area. The shuttle will push the course to the same position each time, setting a fixed lumber line. The shuttle returns home to "rake-off" the next available course. Stickers that are present in the unit will automatically be swept off and fall into an accumulation area.
