"Zero Point" Grinding System
The Western "Zero Point" system simplifies profile grinding and is must in maintaining concentricity of multiple knife cutter heads.

Headstock Features:
Radial arc relief angle headstock adjustment pivots from "Zero Point" maintaining grinding accuracy with range from 15 to 35 degrees.
Screw feed adjustment for wheel wear.
Quick change swivel head adjustment.
Hydro tooth rest for rigid-fixed knife guide grinding.

Workholder Table Features:
Linear bearing rail system for both "X" and "Y" axis movement that provides smooth linear motion with low frictional resistance.
Maximum cutter head size 16" dia x 12" long.
Captured arbor mount blocks.

Template Holder:
Micro Adjustable Temple Holder, calibrated in .001", provides exact placement of template to knife.

Machine Base:
Large footprint, heavy duty fabricated steel with one-piece coolant pan.
10 gallon coolant tank inside base.
Handy storage on inside of base door.

Coolant System:
A complete Flood Coolant System with two control valves to fully control water flow to upper and lower part of knife being ground.
Plus one flex hose for cleaning of the machine.

Other Features:
Diamond dresser.
Adjustable stylus.
